Here's my latest poem (I have written very few poems in my life, just for your information), but I tihnk it is very good. 🙂

Please feel free to give me feedback on any of my poems. Most of them have multiple ways of interpreting them, so read it over and over. 😛

Enjoy!

"My Life"

Time will not stop.
Time will not end.
It will never falter a step
In this life's swirling madness.
Through Heaven and Hell,
Through cloudless skies,
And grassy hills it marches on.
To fight this world of eternal sadness.

I stand here now,
To face my sorrow.
Against the eternal, unchanging
Winds of the Nameless One.
Hopeless, worthless,
Alone in this world
Of joy and pain and confusion.
None, but the last, will overcome.

I have tasted
Something sweet.
But there is something lacking,
In my heart, if I even have a soul.
Food is only nourishment
For the short, the wasted, the poor.
Still, there is something. . .

Food is not a diet for the soul.
That is what I need, what I want.
Lies, deceptions, jealousy, hatred.
We all lie in the dirt, thirsting for something. . .

The only thing I remember still--
It was sweet, but bitter to the core.
