Lost Souls

Standing, awaiting, lost and weary
Who we once were, we are no more
Allowing our minds to be controlled
We allowed ourselves to be destroyed.

Slow fade, thoughts lost, nevermore
Once lost, can't regain the past
We try, we pull and we push that wall
Sometimes it moves, sometimes it shoves

Thoughts lost, can't see, can't breathe
Suspended in our own misery, break through
Trying to regain our souls, nothing comes of it
It's a struggle against ourselves, let go

Complacent, you fail the test. Progressive... you might regain yourself.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Miraman, in the year 601 AF.
