gloom
surrounds me
despair within my soul
depression seeks to consume me
surrounded by four brick walls in my cage
a cage of depression anger and despair surrounds me
four bleak grey brick walls that give only hopelessness and pain
I stare at the ground, my mind long since joyless from the lonelieness
I rest here with the feeling of deserving it without any reason to
before I see but a single bright square light fill my eyes
a pair of voices call out to me welcomingly
a pair of voices that seek to dispell
dispell the gloom from here
they call to me with
naught but a
key
