Endure

Slight and airy, quite contrary,
A breeze came rustling by.

Foiled and frightful, still delightful,
I find myself asking why.

Bold and daring, without caring,
Wings spread, I take to the sky.

Benumbed and blasted, cold outlasted,
A winter flight gone awry.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Glacian, in the year 597 AF.
