Sometimes

Yes I'm a mortal,
A mere human, and I don't care,
I bleed, I hurt, sometimes I cry,
And sometimes I just don't care.

And sometimes I stare down from,
My ego that is the roof,
I see small people flooding the world,
They wouldn't face the truth.

Sometimes they notice.
It's life.
They notice.
They call me down.
Sometimes I notice.

And suddenly I feel them all,
Throw up something, and I know that I don't care.
My body stops, fails, breaks,
But my spirit still stands I know it's just not fair.

My faith is immortal,
With Strength it carries me beyond fame,
Legacy feeding forever,
From the deaths and all the shame.

And sometimes.
They notice.
It's life.
They notice.
They call me down.
Sometimes I notice.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Mayan, in the year 596 AF.
