Ode to Somerled

Written by: Scarlattan Liete Vas'amaen Ren'Thirok

Hunter, the hunted -
now weary, be strong.

In time wounds will mend,
keep singing your song.

Sleep threatens to take you
and though it may win,

Remember times shared
with those of your kin.

Parting, such sadness,
cannot be ignored.

If your mind changes
I'll be guarding your sword.

Hunter, the hunted -
now weary, be strong.

In time wounds will mend,
I'll keep singing your song.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Glacian, in the year 596 AF.
