Darling Decay

Written by: Scarlattan Rose Harley Ashaela-Starwell, Facetious Fury
Date: Thursday, March 8th, 2012
Addressed to: Everyone

Her rose had thorns and so with spite she killed
The venom in her voice cooling warmth with chills
Deepening those strikes so wrought in flame
How can an end be brought with just a name?

Swift, flush like poisoned blood beneath pale skin
Malformation of those thoughts so laced with sin
Welling, beading, flowing in blood that blooms
Unbeknownst to all, a quickened pulse of doom.

Death? Life? Undeath? It matters not
When all befall a disease of sickening rot
Cloying, her twisted lies perfume the air
And in the end nobody seemed to care.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Daedalan, in the year 591 AF.
