Silence

Written by: Concertant Vyln de Irna, the Melodist
Date: Thursday, January 19th, 2012
Addressed to: Everyone

A tool,
Underused,
Unappreciated,
Often misunderstood,
Hinders communication,
Unwieldy for beginners,
Challenges self-expression,
Inspires one's self-discovery,
Emphasizes importance of words,
Facilitates a need for composure,
Becomes a method of discipline,
An infliction of subtle powers,
Wielded by the experienced,
Twisting one's thoughts,
Weakening the resolve,
A masterful blade,
Breeds paranoia,
Know my name:
Silence.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Daedalan, in the year 587 AF.
