The Catechism of the Citadel of Light

Written by: Amunet Viatrix Eruu'Yul
Date: Thursday, December 29th, 2011
Addressed to: Narcissus Rousseau, Imithian

The Lord and Ladies of the glittering Jewel
Pride Themselves upon Their honour and Their wit;
Their warmth, Their judgement, Their clemency,
And to Their subjects, feed the Good's comfit--
Baked beneath the glory of the Eastern sun,
A new manna from an ancient recipe,
Measuring, with Their practised hands,
One part arrogance; one part blasphemy.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Ero, in the year 585 AF.
