Close enough to feel each breath
Too far to touch
Can see each eyelash on a blink
Yet not enough
Fill hours with our tumbling words
But dance away
Because when emotions begin to stir
We're so afraid
Let's walk under the hanging flowers
Alone in the night
Waltz around the starlit paths
A stunning sight
Should you decide to keep the distance
In an open hold
I'll follow with parallel steps into
The lonely cold.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Daedalan, in the year 583 AF.
