Fervor

Written by: Artistic Aspirant Arianis Obuun-Seir

Fervor

Dedicated to my siblings to the East.

As meteors fall and swords slash,
Might we, the Defence, embrace
The roar of the blood beneath our skin
Of pride and courage painted by rage

The leaders cool and collected still
Will lend to us their guidance.
Let not the efforts of so many
Be foiled by acts of petty defiance

As one, surge towards the raiders
Like waves crashing on crimson shores
Let light and justice pervail for all
As rivers of warm blood pours.

No ballad shall be sung of this
For this war is never to be won
But yet you must charge straight on
Until your body falls undone.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Valnuary, in the year 582 AF.
