I am rich in friendship

Written by: Viridi Nohega Ishida-Nomathi

Addressed to: Everyone

Oh woe is me, for I am weak, poor and old.
Nothing do I have to my name. Not even a sovereign of Gold.
But I have something so precious, and it always brings me health.
It is something that I love, and it is better than wealth.
Friendship is what I have, from Cyrene, Eleusis and Hashan.
I have friends everywhere. Everywhere across the land.
So before you take pity on me, and spit in my face.
Remember that friendship makes you rich, whenever you are feeling out of
place.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Daedalan, in the year 576 AF.
