Politics

The politics and moans have infected the news.
Like sticks and stones, they give me the blues.

She did this, he did that. Ask me if I care?
You said this, they said that. Will you dare?

Like children over Mayaween candy you fight.
To my chagrin, I haven't figured the appetite.

What is the prize of all this ruckus?
My attentions? I guess you've struck thus.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Aeguary, in the year 575 AF.
