Cyrene

Mhaldor is NOT the place I love most
Where legacy is measured with a vain boast.
Herenicus, despite your gift of words and vast wit;
it will never tear down what Cyrene has built.
So pay attention and you may learn a thing or two
Of what it means to be Cyrenian through and through.

Cyrene is forever dedicated that is the truth.
We will rally our troops against evil uncouth.
We are more than flails, rapiers and swords.
we have, as well, the gift of intellect and chords.

Perhaps if you looked beyond the evil that has entranced,
You would see that there is such a thing as a life well balanced.
I would never dare say that Cyrene is idyllic and grand,
but merely a place where respect will always withstand.

Gatekeeper, Mindry Sparrow

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Mayan, in the year 574 AF.
