i get the strangest feeling
that although the two of us keep moving
we arent really going anywhere
i am still here
and you are still there

we circle each other warily
i move towards you
you move away from me
waiting for the other to make the first move
unsure of what it is we have to prove

unsure of what next we should do
of what you mean to me
and what i mean to you

who would be the first
who will let go
of the feelings kept inside
and let the other know

who will step inside the circle
into waters unchartered
and waves to be tossed
