I was but a lad when my parents died
From ages 5 to 9 everyday I cried
then I picked myself up and dusted myself off
I hunted and fished and maintained my house
Until finally I was an adult
Then I came unto these lands
And now I have dreams and hopes
my parents I my never see again,
but now the pain is no more than a small pin
For now a new a new life as an Achaean can begin.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Miraman, in the year 249 AF.
