The final meeting between the peoples of Karth and Sapience began with an exchange of gifts.
The leaders of the Kartha bestowed personal honours upon those who had most openly and actively shared in the culture of their people. The names Treyal, Fitz, and Imyrr will long be spoken as near-mythic figures among the youth of Karth.
Four of Sapience's cities also received favours from their once-enemies. Hashan, Eleusis, Mhaldor, and Ashtan were given a unique memento of their discourse with the Kartha.
Recognition and boons bestowed, the true reason for the gathering- and the entire journey of the seafarers, as it turned out, was revealed. Sveha Oriya explained that the expedition that brought her people to Sapience's shores was part of the funeral rites that accompanied the passing of the Kzar of Karth, Raskov ih Ras.
The 17th of Miraman, 928AF marked the conclusion of that mourning period. Raskov ih Ras' likeness was set upon a great pyre and each tribe leader stepped forth with a vow to set his soul free. A member of the Kzar's household then put the flame to the pyre as is tradition in that far-off land.
One final rite remained: an ancient song to release the Kzar from any and all mortal ties to his people, to his duties, and to his legacy. The very same youth who lit the pyre stepped forth and began to sing.
As his song grew bolder and more affecting, what artifice veiled the vocalist in that youthful visage began to break. The illusion of mortality peeled away with every verse until a resplendent form was revealed. Shorn of all disguise and radiant in the inimitable fashion of the Gods stood Scarlatti, the Great Bard.
He spoke to the mortals of Karth and Sapience in brief, revealing the reason for His return: the devotion and courage displayed by mortality in opposition to Pazuzu had moved Him. He would never let such greatness of spirit to go waste.
The God of the Arts parted with an injunction for all the mortals of Sapience to follow: Do Not Forget to Remember.
And He assured them He will be watching.

Summary: The final meeting between the peoples of Karth and Sapience ended with a funeral for the fallen Kzar, Raskov ih Ras. The final song dispelled the mortal disguise of Scarlatti, the Great Bard, who announced His return to Sapience.
