On the 16th of Ero 924 AF, Sapience gathered with Han-Tolneth for a strike against the realm of Undeath. Months earlier, the Dragonmaster had delivered Lord Aegis' plan of attack to Sycaerunax's brood. Wielding the Soulfinder, the final weapon of Khalas and once-dagger of Thoth, he would summon forth the spirit Eidolon of the Underworld for a strike against their foremost source of coalescence: the Soulbleed Nexus.
Within a wooded vale in the Pash Valley stood the united forces of Achaea. Crackling between conduits of petrified wood, white-hot arcs of Wellspring energy surrounded the assembled army, enclosing them within a spectral barrier of Hashani make. The Living would make their stand, no matter the cost to life or sanity.
The Dragonmaster began his task. Plunging Soulfinder into the ground before him, Han-Tolneth cleaved past dirt and soil into the depths of Creation's terminus. An aeons-old invocation spilt from his throat as he concentrated, tapping into an ancient past from the times of Ayar. The shadows of the trees lengthened before a flash of unholy energy clarified the fell origin of this ritual: this was Aldar magic of Ugrach's design.
In words older than Humanity, in words that forged the black dawn of Undeath, in words learned from the First Student of Gaia, Han-Tolneth spoke the ancient tongue of the Firstborn, and the Soulbleed Nexus heard.
With a scream like nails on glass, the phantom essence of the Underworld breached Sapience in a deathly haze, dragging Han-Tolneth below into the nethermost roots of Yggdrasil. Sapience fought with unrivalled determination as every coalescence of soulbleed wrought a new horror for them to face. Death-fuelled rampages broke their ranks. Clawing hands tore them apart. The wailing dirge of the Undead laid armies low. But the Living fought on through torment and torture until their foe's essence was broken and scattered across the Pash Valley.
The final strikes against the entity of Undeath were struck with Soulfinder itself, its blade driven into shards of soulbleed to carve a wound far beyond the physical. Creation wailed with each blow as the Protean relic took on fractures and cracks in its time-worn steel until a final stab pierced the heart of the Underworld, and the ancient tool of the Endbringer shattered into dust.
The Soulbleed Nexus flickered like a dying flame, and though it refused to go out entirely, its glow dimmed to a husk of its former potency. Without the fuel to sustain coalescence, the forging of Undead came to a slow, grinding halt.

Summary: Sapience united beside Han-Tolneth to face the essence of Soulbleed, an entity linked directly to the Soulbleed Nexus. After two days of battle in the Pash Valley, the phantom of Undeath was defeated but not before Han-Tolneth was entombed in the Underworld and the Soulfinder was shattered to dust.
