Dear Mama,
I had so much fun at the Worlds' Fair! I'm so glad you let me go and stay with Uncle's friends in Petra.
It all started in Phaestian. I was very nervous being alone (oh, oops, I wasn't supposed to tell you that Uncle's friend let me go alone! I'm writing with ink, though, so it's too late now!) with all the strange adventurers, but Nissa told us a story about a man called Danaeus and it was super fun! All the weird adventurers were nice to me, too.
After that, the City of Mhaldor, which is full of VERY Evil people (more on that later!) had their first show. A woman named Jurixe S. Nithilar did an amazing show where we all got to live through the 'Siege of Vengeance' as she called it. I guess it was a true story? After that, a witch named Stheno Aristata did blood auguries (I had to ask Nissa how to spell that) and read people's future. And then everybody was shocked when the God of Evil made her into his Order! He was there too, it was so cool!
During the next few months, I got to see all sorts of other cool things! The Legion of Fire had a parade, and then Cisael from Loramere opened a pub (I didn't drink, I promise!. Well, just one sip, but it tasted awful). There was a whole bunch of other stuff, so here's a list of what I remember:
- Hashan, led by Asmodron Dicondron (he's the smug satyr who got a doll made of him) held a parade complete with floats through the fair. They said they'd let me ride on them afterwards but they never did. I heard they like lying in Hashan though so I guess I should've seen it coming...
- I learned the Tash'la don't like being called crystal pigs. One of them, Tehntaithe, sang a song about their creation myth and it was very confusing.
- Ysela Nithilar led a play about Lord Sartan for Mhaldor's second show, and then the Minstrels of Malevolence and a weird man called Ameer Chu who kept threatening to eat me, played a very nice song.
- The Carnivalis Institute of Jestering introduced me to clowns in person. Tilia Malicieux-A'nari read a very weird letter, and then Couldin de'Verres performed a very creepy magic show!
- Targossas, the City of Good, told an interactive story led by Alasiel Averial. We ended up blowing up the world, but they deserved it.
Oops, I have to go to dinner! I'll write the rest of the list after.
