The birds sung in the trees, the warm sun shone down from above, and all was quiet in the Enverren Marsh, until the glubbers began to stir.
Driven by insatiable hunger, the glubbers began to strike out against nearby settlements: first the Enverren Castle, then Manusha. The salamandrin guard had little trouble dealing with the threat, but the villagers to the east were not quite so lucky. Screams echoed through the wagons as Tshaya was snatched by the ravenous amphibians, carried away from her sister Elena and deep into the marsh. Elisella and Stheno struck out into the murk and returned her to the safety of the nearby castle, before reuniting the two sisters and returning them home safely with the assistance of Daine.
While many brave warriors fought off countless swarms of agitated glubbers in the village and within the swamp, Crixos sought answers deep beneath the castle, shortly before returning to Manusha to aid the glubbers in their vicious attack. The Nixie Chiada, fearing for her dear Glubbians, shared what little she knew, citing the recent blood rains as a cause for the swamp's lack of fish, disrupting the food chain and leaving the primitive glubbers starving and desperate.
In order to protect the townsfolk, Aralaya and Farrah set out for Shastaan and the Sangre Plains, looking for someone to aid the villagers in their time of need, but were turned away. Joined by Illaren in Delos, Aralaya found aid in the form of Captain Korlosh of the Delosian Guard, who heard their plea and offered his aid, in what capacity he could.
To this same end, Lii and Jarrod sought the approval of the Manushans, so that an outsider might join them in defence of their home. Before long, a grizzled soldier arrived at the edges of Manusha, promising aid from the nearby city, and aiding the village in constructing defences for their home.
For the first time in centuries, the wagons of Manusha were moved from their ruts, to block off the small village of Manusha. Some days later, the roads were opened once more, wherein two Delosian guards stood watch over the village from a newly-built stockade, keeping the peace between the glubbers and the kindly folk.

Summary: Pazuzu's blood rain decimated the Enverren Marsh's ecosystem, slowly starving the glubbers and driving them to starvation. Desperately, they lashed out at nearby settlements. Manusha requested aid from outsiders in retrieving a kidnapped child, and reinforcements were sent from Delos to ensure the safety of the village.
