On the quiet eve of 17th of Lupar, 714 AF, a small escort party made their way across the Eusian Ocean, crowded upon the decks of a sleek windcutter. Sailing through the Cnidian Gates, the ship finally docked at the Port of Umbrin. Numbering just three, the party members shedded their forms, embracing the soul of the Dragon before embarking upon their mission.

A bulky figure swathed in crimson glanced over at the docked windcutter, flying a large black flag bearing the Divine Order arms of the God of War. Rendezvous time drew near; already, suspicion had fallen upon him more than once over the past few months, with Colonel Antariz dropping by for casual catch-ups. It only took the arrival of the extraction team to spark off a chain of events.

Retrieving Bevran, their Master Tactician, proved no easy feat for the Aegeans. Waves of Umbrinite conscripts and raiders mobilised as they received confirmation that they had been stolen from. Swords flashed and blood splashed across the ground as the extraction team made their way to the port and onto their vessel, already prepared for swift departure.

Undeterred by the escape onto the high seas, numerous soldiers flooded onto one of their unmarked warships and cast off in hot pursuit of their quarry.

The roar of firing ballistae and whirl of flying discs pervaded the air as the warship doggedly navigated through winding chops, but all effort was for naught as the Tide of War successfully sailed into the harbour of Tasur'ke. Even so, the Umbrinite warship made a last ditch effort, offloading several soldiers onto the nearby shoals to ambush their disembarking targets.

Only the screams of their own dying men reached the lurking warship, however, as the outmatched soldiers were rent asunder by draconic claws.

Their land forces annihilated, the Umbrinite vessel retreated and the Aegeans suffered no more interruptions on their path to the Temple of War.
