Civil War?

It started in the month of Sarapin in the year 715. A strange unease began to stir in Moghedu. When any entered their Halls they were as likely to receive a glare in welcome as a barely restrained anger seemed to be building just below the surface.
Unfortunately few noticed and even fewer spent any time investigating the matter. It was not until the rage broke out into violence that widespread concern began but by then it was far too late to turn the tide. After bandying insults with one another and the gathered adventurers, the Mhunna commanded Moghedu be sealed off and the conjurers remove the trespassers from their home.
Shortly after this, the insults turned to madness as the mhun turned on one another in incoherent violence until nothing but corpses remained. When the dust settled and the adventurers regained access to the tunnels of the mhun, nothing but blood and questions greeted them.
An enterprising adventurer decided to blow Death's Call, returning all the slain to life instantly. They promptly resumed their hostilities until all lay dead once more. This second slaughter was greeted by the taunting thanks of a young mhun, a survivor that had escaped the notice of the adventurers in their eagerness to uncover clues.
Pursued by those within Moghedu, the young woman fled into the desert, the mountains, and finally the Aalen, unable to shake off or slay those following her. Ultimately, she plunged a dagger into her own chest, taking her life and any hope of some answers to the massacre in Moghedu.
~~~~~
Summary: The inhabitants of Moghedu all killed one another in an incoherent, blinding rage. Twice.
