The last month has been filled with turmoil as Mysian pirates sent ship
after ship to the bottom of the sea off the coast of Zanzibaar. Captain
Maelstrom, despairing of ever receiving his scheduled shipments from the
wealthy island nation, finally resolved to hire a fleet of mercenaries
to ensure his cargo would be received.

Three brave captains answered his call, and three seastriders set out
toward the tropical port of Zanzibaar. Captaining The Queen Himalia was
Delphinus Windancer and his crew of Draqoom, Hakaido, Kelryn, Lianca,
Rahum, Roroan, and Soopay. Aboard The Dark Illusion was captain Lynara
Le'Dominae and her crew of Amram, Ariafel, Flec, Halpo, Icraa, Ikue,
Sanaki, Selira, Shihai, and Xith. Embarking third was Captain Artanis
Leafwalker and his crew of Saraphae, Scatter, and Tyehr, aboard The
Scythe.

After a harrowing journey through pirate-infested waters, and sinking
two of the vessels, the three ships were able to escort the Baarian
merchant vessel, The Wind of Fortune, safely into Port Tasur'ke.
Suitably impressed with the swift and capable work of the seafarers,
Captain Maelstrom was happy to reward them not only with a hefty sum of
gold sovereigns, but the announcement of a new system of ship trading
available to all adventurers!
