Restoration of Light - Part 2

The search began quickly and consisted only of those within the Devout
in the beginning, as they seemed to want to keep things low-key. The
first prism was discovered in the hands of the gypsy that sits near
Delos. She was found and addressed by Klorious about the prism and if
she would be willing to part with it. Isildur and Qwilleran later joined
Klorius and the three began into talks with the old woman about what her
price would be to give them the prism. Talks moved slowly in the
beginning as the three tried to convince the gypsy of giving them the
jewel with the offering of small trinkets and a few coins, but the women
finally became disgusted with the three and informed them that if they
were not going to make a better offer then Teneb, the lich then she
would just sell it to him and be on her way. The Devout members
continued to barter with the old gypsy, offering her slightly larger
amounts of gold, but nothing close to what had been offered her by the
undead being, so after a few minutes of continue
Upon arriving at the Obelisk of Darkness and meeting with Teneb, she
found that Avelorn and Mageta were already there in his company, though
unaware of what was transpiring. The two began talks, but the whole
while Klorius had been attempting to catch up to the gypsy and convince
her not to sell it Teneb, but instead to him. Jerle arrived shortly
after the gypsy and began in vain to offer the old woman things of
lesser value. Klorius arrived shortly after Jerle at the Obelisk and the
bidding war began between Teneb and Klorius, with the gypsy continually
repeating that she wished to live as a queen for the rest of her life.
As the bids reached 200k, Drakul and Calla arrived to see what had
brought the presence of the old woman and so many Shallamese in Hashan.
The watched in confusion as the bidding reached 260k, in which Teneb
finally decided that the "rock" wasn't worth a sovereign more and ceased
to have interest in the transaction, and by doing so allowing the first
prism to go to Klorius.
As the search for the second prism began, the forces of Shallam stood
dumbfounded for a moment as they were unable to figure out what old man
within a old shack Handel could be speaking of. It wasn't until Damian
and Naiad visited the old mage, Hycanthus did they find out that he held
a piece of the prism. As Damian relayed this to Shallam, Jerle quickly
arrived on the scene to speak to Hycanthus. While the three were
speaking to the old man, Andelas arrived and began to attack Damian,
Jerle began to assist his companion but for reasons unknown stopped and
after a long battle, Damian fell to Andelas.
