essence, devotion, and the Y3C events.

The year 300 is a time for as many people as possible to enjoy the
events we have planned, and thus, I'm going to effectively even out
essence and devotion gain during it, postponing the results of the
just-ended Ethian's Crossing. I will give the Necromancers the
equivalent of 5 landmarks, and the Devotion users the equivalent of 4.
Then, when the next Ethian's Crossing comes, I will lock up the
Landmarks, and set them back to what they are now, so that the
Necromancers get the full measure of their rightful victory in this last
Ethian's Crossing.
No doubt this is not a popular decision with some Necro users, but if
you're honest with yourselves, I'm sure you will be able to come to the
realization that if the places were reversed, it'd be you hoping praying
and wishing for me to do something like this. Also, because the Y3C
events this weekend in particular are not large-scale team events, I
don't feel it's appropriate to punish one group of individuals who have
no real relationship to each other in the context of the event.
In summary: Until the next Ethian's Crossing, I will be making
Occultists and Infernals have the equivalent of 5 landmarks, and the
devotion users the equivalent of 4 landmarks. At the next Ethian's
Crossing, I will disable the Landmarks, and set them to what they were
at the end of the just-ended Crossing. So, there will be no Landmarking
needed at the next Crossing.
I'll be doing this before the PK event starts this evening.
