new things

I've hooked up the City of Ashtan to the rest of the world. Unfortunately,
Ashtan does not have verbose descriptions. We are interested in speaking
with mortals that might be interested in filling in the verboses and/or
writing new areas. There will, of course, be rewards for this, from free
lessons to becoming a Celani. What are Celani, you might ask? Celani are
the servants of the Gods, but are above mortals. Mortals may become
Celani either by helping out significantly with the game, or, eventually,
by achieving certain things as a player. Celani will then have a chance
to move up to Godhood by proving their value and their knowledge of the game
over time.
Speak to me if you are interested in writing for the game. Our standards
are reasonably high, I like to think, so a writing sample would be required.

Furthermore, I've added a password changing feature. The command is simply
PASSWORD. I've also fixed that nasty bug where if you lose your link and
your character stays on the game, you cannot take him over again.

You'll also notice that all news articles written earlier than this one
will have superfluous blank lines in them. This reflects a change I made
to the way files are read.
Penned by my hand on the 19th of Sarapin, in the year 173.
