We would like to invite interested parties to apply for a position as a
Celani on either Achaea or Aetolia. Celani-hood is potentially a route
to Godhood (provided you do a good job as a Celani and then Demi-God and
are deemed suitable), but, like Godhood, it can be hard, unrewarding
work. On the other hand, at times it can be extremely enjoyable.

Those who are interested in rising to the rank of Celani should send an
application to celani@achaea.com. Please include your character name,
real life full name, city and country where you live, real occupation,
educational background, anything that you think might make you
especially qualified (experience as an immortal or Guide on another
-major- MUD, customer service experience, writing skills, etc) and why
you think we should grant you Celanihood.

Please also include whether you are interested in Achaea or Aetolia, or
either, as well as which you prefer if you are interested in both.

In terms of what we expect from Celani: You are expected to show great
self-motivation and initiative. You're expected to find where your
skills can be best applied, and apply them there. You must give up your
mortal and not play him/her at all, though any time before the possible
promotion to God, you may go back to your mortal by giving up your
Celani. The amount of time and effort you spend, as well as the quality,
are factors in promotions, so the better and more you do, the more
quickly you'll be promoted (though we don't promise anyone will ever be
promoted).
