I forgot to mention that an Arena currently costs 1000 gold per Achaean month. It CAN go negative too, and once it has no money left, it will be inoperable until enough is deposited to give it some money for operating expenses. The maintenance fee may go up or down depending on labour costs, etc.

There is also a fee for running an event of 3000 gold. This too is subject to change. Anyone can join an event in any Arena, but be warned that in the case of city Arenas, for instance, if you join an event and are an enemy, you _will_ be attacked by city defences upon leaving the Arena.
