It's worth pointing out that while there can't be reprecussions imposed upon you later for player-killing, there CAN be reprecussions imposed on you later for things like betrayal. So if, for instance, you were to start killing members of your city during this event, the city government would be perfectly in their rights to kick you out and brand you an enemy after the event (or during it). Likewise with doing things to get you branded enemy of the forest.
