Good news to all! We now have a decent java client. Please feel free to try it out (we're quite proud of how speedy and featureful it is despite it's small size). It's located at:

It should connect right away if you point your browser there. There are several neat features, such as color support, command history, and aliasing. (All are described in the Help link on the top of the above page). Despite our having tested it pretty rigorously, it still may have bugs. If you think you have found one, feel free to submit a (specific, detailed) bug report to javaclient@achaea.com. (Or just drop a comment saying what you think of it).
