We've just added functionality to let us flag areas as auto bridged for the purposes of Conquest. Essentially this makes us make areas ignorable for the conquest pathing calculations and treat as bridged for everyone by default.

The reason for doing this is because due to some internal reasons we can't really change some event areas (which are temporary by design) have to be separate from the overarching part of the world that rp wise they're still the same part of. For example (and prompting this change) the Flooded Vashnars area is in world still a part of the Vashnars, but internally has to be a separate area. We don't anticipate needing this feature often, but we feel this is a better solution than having to temporarily give people ownership of areas and potentially impact the back and forth of conquest in an unpredictable way.

As of this post, the Flooded Vashnars is the only auto bridged area.
