Listen up, crafters! We have a big sketch submission overhaul to unveil! This is part 1 of a 2 part release, the second part coming in a week after we've gotten this current section live and working!
First up.
There will be no more sketch items! Crafting design is moving to a customisations-esque system.
Any sketches currently in the queue will be automatically converted.
Any sketches in your inventory can be converted by you with CONVERT_SKETCH <sketch>.
Blank sketches are no longer being sold.
Next:
There are no more letters on approve/reject!
Feedback will be noted on the design, much like customisations.
Notification of approval/return will be via message.
Third:
Design submission fee now scales with the number of rejections it has faced.
We want to be able to add more types of crafting trades to Achaea, but we cannot while the submission queues are treated as the first level of proofreading. Please use the PROOF command, HELP PROOFREADING, and the crafting community for feedback before submitting!
Urgent: 10000 -> 12000 -> 15000 -> 20000 -> 30000
Standard: 1000 -> 2000 -> 5000 -> 10000 -> 20000
And:
A new set of syntaxes has been added to the DESIGN output!
DESIGN CREATE LIQUID
Create a new beverage liquid design
DESIGN CREATE <pattern>
For tailoring, jewellery, cooking, artistry, beverages vessels, and furnishing.
This will need a recipe/pattern/schematic/etc like usual.
DESIGN CREATE <id> FROM <book>
For tailoring, jewellery, cooking, artistry, and furnishing.
For those who have their patterns/schematics/etc stored in a tradebook!
The existing DESIGN <sketch> ... commands for editting/writing a design remain the same.
If you have a sketch you wish to scrap, you can overwrite it for a new design with the DESIGN <sketch> COPY <pattern> or DESIGN <sketch> COPY <id> FROM <tradebook>.
DESIGN LIST will always be sorted by the date the sketch was created
Finally!
For the next week, while we shake out this new system, and prepare phase two the DESIGN CREATE command will not be active.
Only existing designs in the queue and sketches that already exist can be submitted.
All relevant helpfiles have been updated.
More to come in 7 days!
