With the Champion XP event rapidly approaching, here are some final details for those of you planning to participate for the first time (or who might need a refresher):

- If you are on XPEVENT WHO you are open pk. You cannot hire for these deaths, you cannot seek retribution later, etc. As an attacker, you are responsible for being sure your target is in fact on XPEVENT WHO.

- From a defending point of view, common sense applies here. If you turn up as part of a reallistically pk capable group in an area where a person is actively bashing for the xpevent and people defending them kill you for it, they are in the right. This does not mean defenders should kill anyone who randomly passes through Aalen just in case - be sensible, basically!


- When someone becomes active in the xpevent (i.e. is now generating points), everyone in the xpevent (active or not) is informed that they just became so. This is a new addition.

- When you first XPEVENT JOIN, you are now generating xp! Be aware of this and don't waste your first hour thinking it's not the case.

- The xpevent runs through Monday and Tuesday and Thursday and Friday. Wednesday is a break day during which no points can be generated.

- You cannot join a window with less than an hour to go. So you cannot join after 11 pm gametime on Tuesday or Friday.

- You have a maximum of 6 hours to bash. Use them wisely!

- A final reminder: areas point values are weighted differently based on the relative danger you're in when bashing there. These can all be found under HELP XPEVENT, and we definitely recommend people look at them before joining - these are very significant and can make or break your attempt.
