As Yudhishthira has announced, in a great many words, a Reckoning has begun in full!
City Leaders and Rogues!
You will be able to visit the Mhojave desert and find a ring of symbols!
A sturdy oak sapling represents Titania
A frozen sculpture of a slender tower represents Pryla'ari
A roughly hewn basalt alter represents Sevet
A shadow-bound obsidian obelisk represents Telaan
A jagged length of silver lightning represents Maim
A gold-rimmed magnifying glass represents Wavel
PUSH the symbol you wish to align with for the duration of the Reckoning!
City leaders, your choice is for all members of your city.
Citizens of a city, you cannot make an individual choice here, talk to your leader!
Rogues, you may choose for yourselves!
This decision is FINAL!
The aim of the Reckoning is to earn and collect facets and FUSE them to the Impious Sceptre (kept by Haag), these drop from special bosses, can be created by fusing fragments together, and can be won by answering Yudhishthira's occasionally posed questions.
Each contender has been assigned an area of the realm to call their own: Istar Jungle, Darkenwood, Old Thera, Aerinewild, the Griesly Manor, and Shala-Khulia Jungle.
Within these areas monsters will spawn to be killed by those loyal to other factions. When enough perish a boss will spawn. When a boss is live the area is considered free-pk and those loyal to the contender may choose to defend their monster. The death of the monster will earn facets for the sceptre.
Each contender also has an outpost, these are locked for the players level 80 and below. These can be reached via TOUCHing the appropriate symbol in the Mhojave, just do not attack those loyal to your contender!
When enough of the monsters in the maze have been felled an outpost boss will spawn!
Killing the outpost boss will reward with fragments of facets! MELD three of these to create a facet, and then the facet can be applied to the Impious Sceptre.
WALK TO RECKONING will take you to the area of the desert where the symbols can be found!
The Reckoning Ends on the 1st of Phaestian, 827.
Summoning the Sceptre
=======================
Once per day, Haag can bring the Impious Sceptre to one of three locations:
The Inn at New Thera
The Nimick Inn
The gathering hall in Genji
SAY SCEPTRE when in Haag's location for complete instructions.
When in a location with the Impious Sceptre and with facets in your possession: FUSE FACETS to add them to your contender's tally!
Finally! The RECKONING command will let you see a number of things relevant to the current event:
- Who you're supporting.
- The rankings of the six participating (order, scores are not shown).
- Everyone holding a facet.
Note: holding a facet does make you Free PK.
Manually dropping a facet or otherwise disposing of it mid PK is not going to be a credible reason for the person to stop attacking you if they've already started: best judgement here please!
Good luck!
