Wave goodbye once more to the Wheel of Fortune, folks, and let's hear a rousing hello to July as it brings in Globes of Shifting Continents, Nissa's cultural extravaganza, the return of the fonts for Ashtan, Mhaldor, and Cyrene (we've seen the work being done by the Patrons on these projects and are super excited), and the beginning of a exciting conversation on the forums (later tonight) that we hope you'll all take part in!

Also happening this month, the Talisman shop is playing host to the Cities talisman set, and we've also added a completion reward to this set:

A barrel-maker's goblet
This interesting vessel, when held in your inventory, will alert you to any resurrections occuring in the area that you are standing in!

Should the person resurrecting be a personal ally of yours, the goblet will allow you to celebrate their revival with a sip of champagne!

But should the person returned to life be a personal enemy of yours, the goblet will offer you a sip of whiskey to gird your arm ready for renewed battle.

Globes of Shifting Continents also have a new addition for the month, and include:

Alongside the prizes above, opening any globe can also reward with our new item - Paper lanterns!

Paper lanterns are a new consumeable item created to help celebrate Nissa's grand cultural showcase! When you open a globe and get a lantern, the lantern will theme to your city!

If you do not have a city you will also get a themed lantern, no fear!

These lanterns can be lit and they will fly up into the air to disappear and convey one of three gifts to the city as a whole! This will be either 5 credits in the city's coffers; a 15 minute, 2% critical hit bonus; or a 15 minute, 15% xp bonus!

If you are a rogue lighting a lantern the bonuses are the critical hit bonus or the XP bonus, rogue lanterns do not offer organisation credits.

Lighting more lanterns will extend the duration of the crit or XP bonuses, up as far as the end of July when the celebration, any lanterns, and any bonuses (regardless of duration remaining), will come to an end.
