This colour config can be used to highlight dangerous abilities like devour, holocaust bombs, deliverance, and many, many more. This should make it easier to pick out things that are imperative to your survival, without as much of a burden on new players or client-side scripting.

Fear not my less-than-savoury friend, for it is possible to mimic this colour config (and only this colour) with illusions! Simply prepend your illusion with LETHAL or LETHALS (case-sensitive) to mimic this colour for your victim. This will work for all illusion skills and the staff of illusions, but will not be possible for area-wide (or any further-reaching) illusions that may be possible with a Shar'ilian lightspire.
