One XP! Ah, ha, haaaa

Last week, Nicola and I were hard at work integrating more of Achaea's quests into the Quest system. You might have noticed some of these, with around sixty new additions so far. We also fixed up a whole host of quests that weren't quite working, as well as added some additional hints and polish to quests that have NEVER been completed in the years since they were released!
During this process we noticed the absurdly unrewarding nature of XP with quests once players got out of the newbie lands.
We've spent the last few days gathering all kinds of data and are about to embark on normalising much of the XP rewards tied to questing! Some of the changes you can expect are:
- We will be removing xp rewards from corpse hand in quests. As you already get xp from killing the targets, this is double dipping to an extent.
- We will be increasing XP rewards across the board in all other cases (for quests in the quest system at this time). At the upper levels this will make many of the quests some 100 times more rewarding(!) in terms of XP gain.
This is obviously a fairly massive task as we have some seven hundred quests in the system and more being integrated whenever we can, so you can expect to see the changes implemented over the next few days, and then integration continuing with these new standards applied throughout the year.
