Throughout the Year 750 Championship Games, while most of Sapience battled each other across the land and seas and clashed in battles of strategy and wits, there were a handful of individuals who took to arms with quills, parchments, needles, and thread - all just to create the best tapestry that honours what this historical celebration has come to represent!
Challenging all to dive deep for inspiration, the theme of 'Legacy' daunted all but twenty-six participants, who submitted their unique interpretations to the Delosian Crafting Council.
After a series of difficult decisions, one young woman ultimately emerged victorious in the Year 750 Design Contest!
Congratulations go to Stheno and her beautifully woven tapestry of Vengeance, which perfectly commemorates the everlasting legacy of one of Achaea's departed Goddesses.
Not only does she win a preserved copy of her woven design, a replica of the tapestry also overlooks the courtyard in the Keep at Nicator's Crossing forevermore.
Well done to all participants and until the next contest!
Penned by My hand on the 21st of Scarlatan, in the year 751 AF.
