The Year 750 Ship Arena Battle has just concluded, and we have a victor!

The four ships competing were "Yard and Fundament", captained by Jinsun, "TLS Defiance" captained by Alrena, "Arctic Fox" with Mercer at its helm, and "The Bad Idea", under the command of Greys.

Yard and Fundament was first to sink, unable to withstand the onslaught of ballista fire from both Arctic Fox and Bad Idea. Next, the two-ship axis turned their sights on TLS Defiance, and gave chase.

Despite valiant efforts to repair and regroup, firing dozens of retaliatory strikes, TLS Defiance yielded, and sank beneath the waves.

Just two ships remained: Arctic Fox and The Bad Idea. By gentlemen's agreement, the crews of each vessel disembarked, and the final showdown became a duel between two eager and determined Captains.

While Mercer's Arctic Fox adopted an offensive strategy, Admiral Greys chose to fight from a defensive posture, and when all was said and done, the relentless ballistae of the Arctic Fox could not penetrate the bulwark arranged against it, and it too sank under fire.

As the final Captain whose ship remained above water, Admiral Greys claimed victory, earning himself an artefact ammunition rack and the ire of his foes!
