a good deal

I normally wouldn't post this sort of thing here, but I thought that a lot of you would appreciate hearing about this. I was able to go to Best Buy today and buy $400 worth of stuff, totally free. Here is the deal (which, ONLY works if you live in California or Oregon, and are 18 years of age iwth a major credit card): Go to a Best Buy, OfficeMax, or Staples and tell them you want to sign up for 3 years of MSN Internet access. For doing this, you get an instant $400 store credit (you have to get your stuff right then). Take your stuff home, then phone 1-800-386-5550 (MS customer service) and cancel your MSN account. The woman asked me why I was cancelling my account, and I said, "Well, frankly, I'm just taking advantage of the loophole." She was quite familiar with it, having gotten at least 20 calls today from people trying to make up reasons why they were cancelling (she said I was the only honest one *strut*). She cancelled my account, and she assured me that I owe Microsoft absolutely nothing.

In any case, I would _highly_ recommend doing this if you live in California or Oregon. It's free stuff, courtesy of Microsoft. From now on, if anyone tells me Microsoft sucks, I am going to laugh at them.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Mayan, in the year 237 AF.
