Depthswalker!

We're very pleased to announce the release of the Depthswalker class (class number 18!). Armed with the skills of the Tsol'teth, the Depthswalker can fill a variety of roles. Whether you're a combat fanatic or an avid hunter, or just like a good basis for class roleplay, we're confident that you'll find something to like with Depthswalkers.

So, the highlights.

Skills:
Depthswalkers possess three new skills: Shadowmancy, Aeonics, and Terminus. You can get a breakdown of each of these in their respective helpfiles, but here's a quick tour.

Shadowmancy is the art of manipulating shadows to do your bidding. For those familiar with the current Tsol'teth running around, you'll probably recognise some of the iconic things from here (especially the final ability!). This is the primary skill for the class (for both hunting and combat), and should be the first thing you learn. Attacks scale with the strength stat and for the most part consume balance - nimble is almost certainly the trait of choice for Depthswalkers.

Aeonics is the art of manipulating time for various effects. The only person you'd have seen utilise any degree of this skill are Parni and Kosuira, for reasons you'll note in the helpfile. Aeonics is almost all support/utility abilities (a lot of defence, some notable offense), and consumes equilibrium. I'll note that these equilibrium times are mostly set to values that assume the user will be nimble, so you don't need to be concerned about a trait dilemma. Additionally, Aeonics utilises a new mechanic that gates a lot of the more powerful abilities - the ability files should make how it works pretty clear.

Finally, Terminus is the skill that contains a lot of the really flashy things Tsol'teth are known for. A few of these will be familiar to people who have engaged the current Tsol'teth antagonists, and a lot more will be recogniseable for those familiar with Tsol'teth lore. I'm confident you'll find a few surprises in here, however. Additionally, Terminus is unlike any other skill we've done before, in that you focus your studies on particular trees of abilities, unlocking certain ones and making it possible to build your character in a lot of different ways.

If you want to pick up the class, just head to Certimene in Delos as normal and you'll be ready to go!
