Step 1:
- Whether you have a regular set of decaying scalemail, or an old customised set of fullplate, take this to a willing and legendary armoursmith and have them forge an embrasure into it. This gives you 1 embrasure.
- Your armour will still be decaying (if it was previously).
Step 2:
- Purchase a Paragon. These can be bought from the Artefact Armour shop in Delos, or, in July, from the website, or won via auction.
- Insert your paragon into an empty embrasure on your armour via INSERT <paragonID> INTO <armourID> [EMBRASURE 1-3]
- PROBE and WEAPONPROBE your armour, revel in the glory.
- If your armour is decaying and it does decay, any inserted paragon will be returned to your inventory.
Step 3:
- Purchase a Rondel. These can be bought from the Artefact Armour shop in Delos, or in July, from the website, or won via auction.
- EXPAND <armourID> EMBRASURE WITH <rondelID>
- If you use the level 1 Rondel (a gilded rondel):
You will have armour with 2 embrasures.
You will have armour that does not decay.
You will have armour that is resetting.
You will have armour that is customisable.
- If you use the level 2 Rondel (a sun and starburst rondel):
You will have armour with 3 embrasures.
You will have armour that does not decay.
You will have armour that is resetting.
You will have armour that is customisable.
Repeat Step 2:
- Do so with as many paragons as you have embrasures for.
- You cannot insert more than one of a paragon type into a single suit of armour.
Oh No, I Put The Wrong Paragon In. WHAT DO I DO?
------------------------------------------------
- Firstly: Do not fret, we are prepared for this.
- Secondly: Find a friendly weaponsmith and ask them to forge you a PRY. Or, search your inventory for a PRYALL.
- Thirdly: If you have a pry, use PRY <armourID> EMBRASURE <1|2|3> to remove a paragon from a specific embrasure.
A Pryall will remove all paragons from a suit of armour. Use PRYALL <armourID>.
- Note: You cannot pry paragons that are on cooldown.
Pries and Pryalls are consumed on use.
Command Summary:
----------------
For Armoursmiths:
- FORGINGCOMMS EMBRASURE <armour type>
How many and which commodities are needed to add an embrasure to an armourtype.
- EMBRASURE <armourID>
Add 1st embrasure to a suit of armour.
