I've given mobiles the ability to recognize that friends of theirs in
the same room as them are being attacked, and react accordingly (either
by attacking the attacker, or, if they are cowardly, just doing nothing).
So, what this means is that attacking groups of sentient mobiles (ie people, and other intelligent things, not animals) has become more dangerous, especially if you are soloing. I have partially compensated by lowering the damage that mobiles generally do, but you still are going to find (I hope) that it's not as easy to just run through a community of things and slaughter them all.

This system will probably be expanded in the future to allow mobiles to shout for help, which may or may not come, depending on how far away the nearest 'guard' mobile is from them.
