Achaea history

As Achaea's player base grows (stalled at the moment while we sort
out a faster server and a faster engine), and as the game becomes more complex, it becomes more difficult for me to devote my time to chronicling the histories that are a result of all your actions in Achaea. I think it's a shame that history gets lost and forgotten, and I'd like to do something about that.
Cronono's post on the public news got me to thinking that what we need is an official Chronicler. This Chronicler would start out at the Celani level (one below God), with the ability to be promoted for good work. His or her responsibility would be to write impartial (well, as impartial as possible) histories of events in Achaea, both in the sense of recording individual player's accomplishments (for HELP NOTABLES), and the overall events as they occur.
I will put in a library and book system (books would be much like journals), so that histories can be read by players within the game.
The qualifications for this position are 1) excellent writing skills. You must have impeccable grammar and spelling, and a good command of descriptive language. 2) A willingless to completely give up your mortal character. No historian who is involved with mortal life will be able to maintain the level of impartiality that I want to see. 3) A real interest in doing this for a long period of time, and on a consistent basis.
This is a position that I simply will not feel that the applicants do not meet every requirement in spades, as I really do not want to waste my time with someone who isn't capable of doing the job and reliable and consistent in doing it.
If you want to apply, send an essay of 1000 words to sarapis@achaea.com that details some event in Achaea's history, either modern or mythological. It has to be in your own words, but of course, some quoting from whatever source is fine. Use whatever style you want. Impress me.
Oh, scratch that, e-mail it to history@achaea.com instead. Thanks!
