Just a quick note to let you guys know that I'll be away for a couple of
days. You may expect some delays to correspondence. As a parting gift, I
present a rather large batch of player-submitted ideas for your
enjoyment:

- The platinum whistle artefact will now only function for its owner.
- You can now WEAR the shimmering clover artefact awarded in the March
LOGINDAYS promotion.
- Chocolate beans, red and yellow chitin will now appear in GMCP as
'chocolate bean', 'red chitin' and 'yellow chitin' respectively.
- You can now FEED COOKIE TO PERSON to quell those desires for baked
goods.
- There is no longer a range restriction on FORCEBOARD DISMISS.
- Transcendent tailors can now increase the warmth factor of tailored
clothing at the cost of the same amount of cloth comms it takes to sew
the garment with SEW <garment> ALTER ADDWARMTH
- Depositing gold for another person in a bank where they don't already
have an account will now open an account for them.
- The message in STAT for those newbies who have used up all their
newbie portals before they reach level 20 will now correctly reflect
that.
- Tired of having to not vote in elections and referendums because you
don't like any of the choices? Well, now you can ELECTION/REFERENDUM
<number> ABSTAIN to abstain from voting. When the election or referendum
has closed and the results are posted, there will be an additional note
about how many voters abstained. Your abstention will only be counted if
you meet all the normal requirements for voting in the election.
- Doing a MARKWHO when there are no marks (Ivory or Quisalis) available
in the realms will now tell you so.
- Blackjacks can now be sheathed on belthooks.
- You can now use MSG LIST UNREAD [start][FULL] to show only unread
messages.
- HEARTSTOP in the arena will now reflect as such in the corresponding
deathsight.
- SHIP TRADES will now show the amount of gold or bound credits that are
to be awarded for trade deals.
- Using FLEETSENSE will now require the use of 'more' for those who
captain several ships, to make reading the list easier.
- The AB scroll for the Survival skill of Insomnia now lists the way to
lower the defence.
- The Blademaster class is now listed on the classes page on the
website.
- For all you serpents - CONFIG COLOUR RATTLE to set the colour that
rattles will appear in.
- Ghosts in the Underworld can now be targetted as 'undead'.
- Prosperian Vault artefacts will now function from anywhere in your
inventory, including from within containers.
- The TATTOOS command will now show your starburst tattoo as active if
you already have the starburst defence.
- The DATE command will now show the date in both GMT and your local
timezone based on what you have set in CONFIG TIMEZONE.
- Handing over several of the same item should now show the correct
amount in the message shown to the other player and any witnesses.
- Certain rooms were getting GMCP messages for the addition and removal
of items that weren't really entering and leaving the room. This should
no longer happen.
- Two-handed weapons should now show the 'l' attribute via GMCP when
they are wielded.
- PARTY INVITE FRIENDS should now function the same as PARTY INVITE
<person> with respect to the target already being in a party.
- The GMCP Room.Info will now include if the room is underwater or
indoors.
- Being phased or blind (without mindseye) will now stop you from seeing
items in the room through GMCP as well.
- Scrolls can now be ENCIPHERed by Occultists with the requisite ability.
- Gathering can no longer be done PHASED, or under the effects of
BLACKWIND or ASTRALFORM.
- FIREWALLS will no longer hit adventurers who are PHASED or BURROWED.
