We have decided to expand the experimental Meropis PK rules to outlying
areas and islands. This means anything not on the main continent of
Sapience will follow the guidelines set forth in HELP SIMPLIFIED PK
(formerly MEROPIS PK). This also includes ship-to-ship combat and combat
aboard ships at sea. These rules are subject to adapt to fit any
concerns that may arise during the course of the experiment. Any
significant changes will be posted to this board as they are made.
Should the experiment prove successful, these simplified PK rules may be
applied for all of Achaea, including the main continent.

To further clarify the areas affected by this expansion of Simplified PK
rules: If you can walk there from the player-run cities of Sapience, it
is still under normal PK rules. If you must take a ship or ferry, it is
under Simplified PK rules.
