We're back from a few days away at our annual Gods Meet, and to
celebrate this occasion, we're pleased to announce the following
changes:

Following up the "Ships and Seafaring" thread on the forums, we've made
the first in a series of updates to all things nautical:

- Ship wages have been revamped, and are no longer relative based on
other ships. To accomodate these changes, all ships have had their wages
set to the average values.

- Morale will no longer be affected immediately when changing ship
wages. Instead, the morale change will take place the next time the crew
is paid.

- Ranged abilities should now work properly on ships.

- City harbours will now sell ship stores.

- Seafarers now have a far greater window in which to take a SIGHTING.

- Seafaring's AIMING has had its accuracy bonus greatly increased.

- Manoeuvres that are conducive to more accurate firing are now more so.

- Sunk vessels no longer take up berths in harbours.

- Crew gain more morale from meals cooked by a Ship Cook.

- Defeating a sea monster now increases both crew experience and morale.

- Vessels may no longer WAVECALL while grappled.

- Captains may now unload stores from their larder.

Other changes:

- KNUCKLESLAP and Striking HANDS now have a chance to disarm an
opponent.

- Only one EYE sigil can now exist in a room, with the exception of
stockrooms. This change is not retroactive.

- Soulspears can no longer be thrown through obstructions such as doors
or icewalls.

- There is now a "continued" marker when you MORE.

- Numerous miscellaneous bug fixes.

As always, props go out to our coding team! If you find something that
is not working as intended, please file a BUG with as much information
as possible.
