Up until now, we had not enabled the automatic decay of unpreserved
messages that is listed in HELP MESSAGING under 'Preserving'.

In preparation for our move to the new datacentre, we will be enabling
the decay of unpreserved messages that are older than the listed cutoff
age (currently about 85 Achaean months).

If you have some messages that you wish to keep for a particular reason,
you can preserve the message using MSG PRESERVE <msg number>. Keep in
mind though, that you may only preserve up to 1000 messages.

The decay of old unpreserved messages will begin at 00:00 GMT on Friday
26 March, or roughly 5 Daedalan 534, so you will have until then to
PRESERVE any messages that you wish to keep.
