With the Spyglass ability in the Watch specialisation of Seafaring, you
can now gain greater detail on items that are in the water near your
ship, aside from other ships. You must have an actual spyglass in your
inventory as well as the ability. Lucky for you, Captain Maelstrom has
just received a shipment of spyglasses and is selling them at his usual
spot at the Tasur'ke harbour.

This ability won't be of much practical use... yet.
