We've recently added a section in HELP PETS, under "Things That Won't
Work" to forbid pets whose descriptions/reactions are too silly or
otherwise unsuitable to the roleplaying atmosphere. I'm not pointing
fingers at any one person or any one pet as I've approved my share of
pets in my time that in retrospect were a mistake. However, over time
we've simply accumulated too many pets that fall under this description
and it has to stop somewhere.

At this time, I don't intend to pull out such existing pets, but we will
be much more stringent about future pet requests. Future pet requesters,
please don't point at existing pets to say "well that one is silly, why
do you have a problem with mine?" What is 'too silly' or 'too
unsuitable' will be up to administrative discretion.
